These brass reducing nipples connect a smaller metric female thread to a larger metric male port. Each fitting has a male metric fine thread on one end and a female metric thread on the other end. The maximum pressure is 16 bar (232 psi).

Select the correct thread

Measure the diameter and the pitch of both threads. A metric fine thread such as M14x1.5 has the same diameter as a coarse M14 thread, but a smaller pitch, so the two threads do not fit together. Use the wrench width in the product data to select the correct tool.

Brass fittings are suitable for neutral and non-corrosive media.
